MOVEMBER !!

Merci

After Pink October, dedicated to raising awareness, prevention and the fight against breast cancer, November gives way to MOVEMBER!

But what is Movember?

Originating in Australia in 2003, following a bet between friends, the Movember Foundation has grown into the leading global movement dedicated to men’s health. The concept: grow a mustache throughout the month of November ("Mo" for mustache, "vember" for November) and let it serve as a powerful statement. Every hair that sprouts on a man’s upper lip becomes an opportunity to break down taboos and spark conversations about topics that men too often keep to themselves.

What are we fighting against?

Movember is a fight against cancers that affect men: prostate cancer—the most common among men—and testicular cancer, which often impacts younger men. It is also a crucial battle for men’s mental health and the prevention of suicide among men.

Because men, too, need to take care of themselves, they should get screened and feel empowered to speak up when things aren't going well. The mustache serves as the symbol for this: visible, proud, and impossible to ignore—worn by men who are conscious of their own physical vulnerability.

If you aren't ashamed to talk about our vulnerabilities, grow a mustache!

Nearly 11% of male deaths are caused by prostate, testicular, or breast cancer.

Please share this as widely as possible!

Thank you.
