Numbers 7 and 8 are Earle Forbes photos of champion bodybuilder Dan Lurie. Mr. Lurie was one of the few 1940s era nude models to leave a memoire and/or do interviews. Of Mr. Forbes, he said, "Yes, we all knew Earle was gay and that he was selling the nude shots to gays on the side. We didn't care because he did great work and got us into the best magazines."
